Fall 2013
DWR to Host IRWM Workshops
Water Resources is hosting a second round of workshops this fall for input on the ongoing development of a strategic plan for the future of Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) in California.
The sessions, which are free and open to the public, are an opportunity to discuss how federal, state, regional and local government laws, regulations, and policies could better align with integrated regional water management. Participants also will help shape the objectives and strategic approaches that are needed for the strategic plan.
A total of five workshops are scheduled at different sites across the state during October and November. The first workshop is Oct. 17 in Clovis, and other sessions will follow in Burbank, Redding, Stockton and Temecula.
For a full schedule and to register as a participant, go to the DWR website.
