Assemblyman Logue Names Ashley Indrieri Third Assembly District Woman of the Year

North State Assemblyman and Chief Republican Whip Dan Logue, announced that he has named Ashley Indrieri, a prominent Colusa County advocate and leader, as Woman of the Year for the 3rd Assembly District. Each year, California State Assembly Members select one woman from their district whose community involvement is deserving of special recognition.

“Ashley is a pillar of the community. Her outstanding spirit of civic engagement has served as an inspiration to those around her, and helped to make Colusa County and the North State a better place.  She is well respected for her dedication to local issues and her avid work, making her a great choice for Woman of the Year,” said Logue.

Indrieri, the Chief Operations Officer of the Family Water Alliance (FWA) in Colusa County, joined the non-profit organization in 2007. FWA is a statewide non-profit that is dedicated to the protection of California agriculture. It is a grassroots organization for the protection of water rights as well as private property rights. FWA administers the Sacramento Fish Screen Program, which Indrieri oversees and directs. She has worked tirelessly on local and North State flood control issues in an effort to assure that rural communities are provided with adequate flood protection.

Indrieri sits on the board for the California Alliance to Protect Private Property Rights.  She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Chapter of Omega Nu, which is a woman’s community group dedicated to educational scholarships and community welfare. Additionally, Indrieri is a member of the Colusa Rotary.

Indrieri resides in Colusa with her husband Tom, son Quinten, and twin daughters Ava and Addison.

The ceremony to honor the Third Assembly district’s Woman of the Year took place on Monday, May 6, during the Colusa County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner. The event was at the Steelhead Lodge Bar & Grill in Colusa.
